ECHS graduation Saturday

Early County High Class of 2008
Early County High School graduation exercises will be Saturday, May 24 at 9 a.m. in Hammack Gymnasium. Approximately 158 members of the Class of 2008 will march across the stage to receive their diplomas.

Commencement exercises will begin with the seniors marching in to "Pomp and Circumstance" played by the Early County High Band of Blue.

The welcome will be given by student body president Kristina Ashley Cooper. The invocation will be given by STAR Student Christopher Lee Sumner Jr. The Pledge to the Flag will be led by honor graduate Arthur Hugh Redding III. The senior poem will be read by Tiffany Inez Grigley.

Beta Club president Carrie Elizabeth Collier will introduce the Beta Club seniors.

Students in the dual enrollment program will be introduced by Kelsey Jordan Rice who had the highest GPA in the CNA program.

The salutatory address will be given by salutatorian Hannah Nicole Nolen followed by "Remember Me This Way" performed by the Early Arrivals and senior chorus members.

Breanna Nicole Miller Valedictorian
The valedictory address will be given by valedictorian Breanna Nicole Miller. Principal Irene Bush will introduce the honor graduates and present the 2008 senior class for graduation.

Senior class president Wesley Ryan Ferguson will conduct the roll call of seniors and diplomas will be presented by principal Irene Bush and school superintendent Kenneth Hall.

Following the presentation of diplomas the alma mater will be led by honor graduate Angelia Cristina Drew. The benediction will be given by honor graduate Stephanie Claire Anderson and the graduates will march out to the recessional music of "Pomp and Circumstance" by the Early County High Band.

The 2008 honor graduates and Senior Beta Club members can be found on pages 10 and 11.

Marshals at Saturday's graduation exercises will be Kaitlin Elizabeth Anglin, Daniel Bryan Kinjerski, Anton Walter Moreno and Misty Jannet Moreno.

Ushers will be Breanna Denise Bush, Mary Katherine Crozier, Keneshia Yvette Hayes, Matthew Alan Merritt, Spencer Blane Rice and Casey Lynn Schaeffer.
