Reba Brownlee

Reba Frances Nobles Brownlee, 95, of Blakely died Thursday, May 15, 2008, at Early Memorial Nursing Home.

Mrs. Brownlee was born Feb. 15, 1913, to the late Preston and Lena White Nobles. She was a member of Westview United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Wilson Brownlee; two brothers Jim Frank Nobles and J.P. Nobles; two sisters Vera Stevens and Neva Iluggins; and one son Grady Brownlee.

Survivors include two daughters, Janette Nobles and husband Norman of Jakin, Linda Brookins of Dothan; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Saturday, May 17, 2008, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Manry- Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Burgess officiating. Interment followed at Sardis Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Barney Brownlee, Victor Cannon, Casey Cannon, Greg Nobles, Danny Scarbrough and Jerald Scarbrough.

Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
