Toye H. Wright Toye Humphrey Wright, 90, of Bluffton died May 10, 2008, at her residence. Mrs. Wright was born Aug. 20, 1917, to the late Joe and Eula Humphrey. She was mother of Bright Star Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, R.T. Wright; and two children. Survivors include eight children, Sam Wright and wife Annie, Milton Wright and wife Ann, Gladys Lewis, Sumayah Ali, all of Cleveland, Ohio, Ginger Harris and husband Donald of Oceanside, Calif., Lois Pittmon, Vadis Wright and Donell Ash-Shaheed and wife Najiyyah of Blakely; three sisters, Orrie Bell Lee, Doris Hodge and husband Horace of Blakely and Ruby Wade of Cleveland, Ohio; 20 grandchildren; 36 greatgrandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were Wednesday, May 14, 2008, at 11 a.m. at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. E.N. Dixon officiating. Interment followed at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
Community Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
