Wreck claims Arlington man

An Arlington man was killed early Saturday morning in a onevehicle accident on Georgia Highway 45 north of Damascus.

Kenneth Blake Lusk, 23, lost control of the northbound 2003 Toyota Tocoma pickup truck he was driving sometime during the early morning hours. Lusk, who apparently was not wearing a seat belt, was thrown from the vehicle as it flipped several times.

The accident was not reported until approximately 7 a.m. Saturday morning. According to the accident report, the vehicle ran off the road onto the right shoulder, then began to flip as it veered back across the highway.

Lusk was a 2003 graduate of Miller County High School. He also graduated from Darton College in Albany. He was planning to attend Valdosta State University and was working as a lifegurad at the Albany YMCA.
