Carrie Collier, a senior at Early County High School, was selected by her school and the Peter Early Chapter as the recipient of the DAR Good Citizen award.
This entitled her to enter the DAR scholarship contest. At the February meeting, she shared her essay with the Daughters of the American Revolution. It was titled, "Our American Heritage and Our Responsibility for Preserving It."
Carrie is the daughter of Mike and Debra Collier of Blakely.
