Literacy team staff receives training

Members of the Early Reading First staff attended Foundations in Family Literacy training March 28 and 29 in Louisville, Ky.

The training was sponsored by the National Center for Family Literacy.

The foundations training provided a basic overview of the principles and practices of family literacy and the research that supports those practices.

This training was part of the National Conference on Family Literacy which was attended by seven of the staff after the foundations training.
