Rory Sloan Payton

Mr. and Mrs. Rand Payton of Pelham, Ala., announce the birth of their daughter, Rory Sloan, born March 25, 2008, at 5:12 a.m.

Rory Sloan weighed 8 pounds 4 ounces and was 19 1/2 inches long.

She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Payne and the late Reesa Morris Payne and Dr. and Mrs. Ken Payton.

Rory Sloan was welcomed home by her "canine" big sister, Divot.
