Willie Sealy Sr. Willie Gene Sealy Sr., 57, of Blakely died Saturday, April 5, 2008, at his residence. Mr. Sealy was born in Blakely Jan. 17, 1951, to the late Pete Sealy Sr. and Johnnie Mae Jordan Sealy. He was a farmer and member of Arms of Faith Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a son, Anthony Sealy; and a grandson, Willie M. Sealy. Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Mae Sealy; three sons, Willie Gene Sealy Jr. and wife Bertha, Michael Sealy and wife Terasea and William Sealy and wife Ann, all of Blakely; two brothers, Pete Sealy Sr. and Rufus Sealy and wife Jeanette; six sisters, Gloriann Brook and husband James, Geneva Gaston and husband Bobby of St. Petersburg, Fla., Vera Louis and husband Joseph of Rochester, N.Y., Emma Ceasar and husband Wesley, Mona Miller and husband Latavius of Blakely and Gloria Mosely of Arlington; and five grandchildren, Brianna Sealy, Chamness Sealy, Terasea Sealy, Antonio Sealy and Aprecianta Sealy. Funeral services were Saturday, April 12, 2008, at 3 p.m. at St. Paul Methodist Church in Arlington with Pastor Rufus Sealy officiating. Interment followed at St. Paul Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Glen Ceasar, Wesley Ceasar Jr., Jessie Brackin Jr., Octavius Figgins, Trezman Efford and Lecore Georgia.
Peoples Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
