Dorotea Ramos Dorotea Ordanza Ramos, 95, of Blakely died Wednesday, April 9, 2008, at Early Memorial Nursing Home in Blakely. Mrs. Ramos was born in Villasis, Philippines, Feb. 6, 1913, to the late Vincente Ordanza and Margarita Hermogues Ordanza. She was a homemaker and of the Methodist faith. She spent the last 10 years in Early County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cipriano Ramos; and a daughter, Remedios Gonzales. Survivors include one son, Hilario Ramos of Union City, Calif.; seven grandchildren, Angelita, Evelyn, Evangeline, Apollo, Nathan, Glenn and Rodney; six great-grandchildren, Gerwia, Angeline, Gizzelle, Caitlin, Amor and R.G.; and four great-great-grandchildren, Lewen, Caleb, Joyce and Trixie. Funeral services were Friday, April 11, 2008, at 4 p.m. at the chapel of Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home with Rev. George Atherholt officiating. Graveside servics were Saturday, April 12, 2008, at Crestlawn Memorial Garden in Farmville, N.C.
