Unable to attend due to illness was Mrs. Sessions' daughter Elizabeth Williams of Perry, Fla.
Remember all those 40s, 50s and 60s clasmates that were here a couple of weeks ago? Most of those from Blakely-Union had the same sixth grade English teacher - Mrs. Edna Sessions.

Mrs. Sessions had a birthday Sunday. Her 100th and she had plenty of friends and family to help her celebrate.

The festivities at Hilton United Methodist Church included over 175 well wishers who enjoyed a short presentation documenting Mrs. Session's years through photographs.

Among greetings received by Mrs. Sessions were cards from President George Bush, Gov. Sonny Perdue and Rep. Sanford Bishop.

Out of town visitors included Mrs. Sessions' grandchildren, Kenneth Williams of Tampa, Fla., and Merri Huggins and husband Kelly of Cleveland, Ga.; and Mrs. Sessions' niece, Peggy Mauldin and husband Dan of Alachua, Fla.; and greatgrandchildren Chelsea, Meredith and Leah Huggins.
