Educator celebrates her 100th birthday
Mrs. Sessions had a birthday Sunday. Her 100th and she had plenty of friends and family to help her celebrate. The festivities at Hilton United Methodist Church included over 175 well wishers who enjoyed a short presentation documenting Mrs. Session's years through photographs. Among greetings received by Mrs. Sessions were cards from President George Bush, Gov. Sonny Perdue and Rep. Sanford Bishop. Out of town visitors included Mrs. Sessions' grandchildren, Kenneth Williams of Tampa, Fla., and Merri Huggins and husband Kelly of Cleveland, Ga.; and Mrs. Sessions' niece, Peggy Mauldin and husband Dan of Alachua, Fla.; and greatgrandchildren Chelsea, Meredith and Leah Huggins.
