Williamson - Watson
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Edward Cosey of Perry, Ga., and Mr. and Mrs. James Moses Williamson of Butler, Ga. Miss Williamson was valedictorian of the 2002 senior class of Taylor County, Ga., and later attended Valdosta State University where she was a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority and Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society. Miss Williamson is a recent graduate of South University Physician Assistant program in Savannah. She will be working in pediatrics this summer at the Donalsonville Hospital Women and Children's Center in Donalsonville. The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Robert William Collier Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. Mickey McDonald and the late Rev. Eugene Watson, all of Blakely. Mr. Watson was an honor graduate of the 2002 senior class of Early County and attended Valdosta State University. Mr. Watson transferred to the University of Georgia where he graduated magnum cum laude with a degree in exercise/ sports science and physiology. He is currently a second year medical student at the Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Va. Mr. Watson will begin his clinical rotations at the Carilion Hospital in Roanoke, Va., this fall. He will graduate as a physician in 2010.
The wedding is planned for August 23, 2008, at Bethel Congregational Methodist Church in Butler at five o'clock in the afternoon. No local invitations will be sent. All friends and family are invited to the wedding and to the reception at Massee Lane Gardens, Fort Valley, Ga.
