Wright - Waller vows spoken
The bride is the daughter of Sandra Murkerson Wright of Jakin and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Murkerson of Jakin. The groom is the son of Teddy and Shannon Waller of Blakely and the grandson of Cornelia Holley, Alvin and Sonya Brown, and the late Ted Waller, all of Blakely, and the late Damon Spurlock of Arlington. The wedding music was performed by Heath Houston, his daughter Hannah Houston, Chase Alger and Beau Clenney. Miss Houston sang "How Beautiful" accompanied by her father on the piano. Mr. Alger and Mr. Clenney played acoustic guitar. Rev. Myers' ceremony included scripture from 1 Corinthians 13. Rev. Bonnette concluded with an invitation while Mr. Houston sang "Love Song" by Third Day. The champagne colored wedding gown was adorned with beadwork covering the entire bodice and the semicathedral train. The bride carried a bouquet of calla lilies, bells of Ireland, white roses, dendrobium orchids and wax flowers. The bride wore a French twist hairstyle adorned with an elbow-length veil and a tiara made from Swarovski crystals. Stephanie Barr, friend of the bride, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Melanie and Sammie Jo Wright, sisters of the bride, Jessica Wilson, Jasmine Tindol and Casey Schaffer, friends of the bride. Junior bridesmaid was Peri Chapman, cousin of the bride. The flower girl was Macy Bonnette, friend of the bride. The bridesmaids wore sage green dresses and carried white calla lilies. The flower girl wore a champagne dress with flowing sheer fabric and carried a basketful of green rose petals. Nick Ferry, friend of the groom, was the best man. Groomsmen were Dean Waller, brother of the groom, Teddy Waller, father of the groom, Donnie Holley, uncle of the groom, Thomas Harris and James Barr, friends of the groom. Junior groomsman was Eric Holley and the ring bearer was Dalton Holley, both cousins of the groom. Cheri Harrell, friend of the couple, directed the wedding. The reception was held in the fellowship hall of New Hope Baptist Church. Centerpieces included an assortment of sage green candles accented with rose petals and stones. The bride's cake was four tier featuring square and round tiers. It was accented with green lace frosting and topped with white roses, greenery, and a bride and groom seated on the edge of the buttercream frosting. The groom's cake was a three tier Nintendo cake including the Nintendo Strawberry layer, the Wii chocolate layer, and GameCube vanilla layer. After the cutting of the cakes, the couple enjoyed their first dance to the song, "The Way I Am". Others were invited to join the couple as the song continued. The buffet style dinner was prepared by the groom's aunt, Elizabeth Holley, and included an assortment of meats, breads, finger foods and a beautiful fruit display.
The newlyweds enjoyed a honeymoon in the North Georgia mountains. The couple now resides in Blakely where both are continuing their education. Mrs.Waller is working with Pre-K children at Early County Elementary School, and Mr. Waller is working on webpage design with Dynamic Technology Services in Macon. The couple is actively working with the youth at New Hope Baptist Church in Blakely.
