Willie Pearl Glenn

Willie Pearl Cosby Glenn, 60, of Blakely died Saturday, March 29, 2008, at her residence.

Mrs. Glenn was born in Early County Feb. 7, 1948, to the late Eva Hodges and Peter Cosby.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Emanuel Glenn.

Survivors include her companion Thomas Jones; four daughters, Deborah George and husband Wallace, Senella Moore and husband Nathaniel, Janice Tolbert and husband Gerald, and Angie Jones and husband Terry, all of Blakely; one son, Emanuel Glenn Jr., of Blakely; six sisters, Bertha Lindsey of Blakely, Belle, Merline, Ella, Bertha Lee and Maddi Cosby; nine brothers, Claude, Charles, Early Bee, Joseph, Larry, Eddie Lee, Anthony, Freddie C. and Allen C. Cosby; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Saturday, April 5, 2008, at 2 p.m. at Faith Holiness Church with Bishop Clifford Lovett officiating. Interment followed at Bandcroft Cemetery in Blakely.

Pallbearers were Steve Glenn, Travis Glenn, Tyrone Lindsey, Christopher Thornton, Vishawn Tolbert and Cortez Wimberly.

Community Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
