Bike-a-thon April 19
A bike-a-thon event benefitting St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital will be in Blakely Saturday, April 19 in the parking lot of Northside Ball Park from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The rain date is April 26. Volunteer coordinator, Carol Ansari, encourages everyone to participate or attend the bikea thon.
By participating in or attending this event, you will help St. Jude's in its ongoing fight against such childhood diseases. All funds raised through this event will be donated to St. Jude's.
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is internationally recognized for their pioneering work in finding cures for cancer and other catastrophic diseases. Founded by the late entertainer, Danny Thomas and based in Memphis, Tenn., St. Jude freely shares its discoveries with medical and scientific communities around the world. No family ever pays for treatments not covered by insurance and families without insurance are never asked to pay. St. Jude is financially supported by ALSAC through events such as a bike-athon.
