      Kim Williams, Monica Harris and Teresa Bishop of Blakely recently represented the Early County Headstart program at the National Center for Family Literacy's annual conference in Louisville, Ky.

Winners awarded
      Many fourth and fifth grade students at Early County Elementary School recently participated in the 2008 Georgia National "Fair Bear"Writing Competition. Students were required to create a story between 200 and 500 words with "Fair Bear Wins a Ribbon" as the theme.
