Sanders - Godfrey

Mr. and Mrs. Tim Sanders of Lee County are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristin Jeannette Sanders, to Quinton Tyson "Bo" Godfrey Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Quinton Tyson Godfrey Sr. of Colquitt.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Glenda Styck and Mr. and Mrs. Newell Sanders of Leesburg. She is the greatgranddaughter of Mattie Sanders and the late Hoke Sanders of Newton.

Miss Sanders is a 2007 honor graduate of Lee County High School. She currently attends Albany Tech pursuing a nursing degree.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mary Jean Milliner Holt and the late Donald Grady Holt and Mr. and Mrs. D.A. "Bill" Godfrey of Colquitt. He is the greatgrandson of Ruth Milliner and the late Curtis Milliner of Damascus, Grace McLendon and the late Grady Holt, the late J.O. "Buddy" and Wiley Tabb Newberry, all of Colquitt, and the late Beulah Melton Godfrey and James Tyson Carnes.

Mr. Godfrey is a 2004 honor graduate of Miller County High School. He earned an associate's degree in plant science from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton. He is employed with Deer Run Planation in Leary.

The wedding is planned for 6 p.m. Saturday, June 14, 2008, at Deer Run Plantation in Leary. All family and friends are cordially invited to attend.
