Wait! Before you go there, I have another question. How many of you still have eggs standing on end around your house or office? How many of you actually tried to balance an egg on end last Thursday? Didn't think so. But, you should've! There's a lesson to be learned. Those of you who Googled up the the myth about balancing eggs on end during the Spring Equinox probably found most scholars and pundits debunking the idea. But, it can be done. Like I said last week, we once had eggs standing on end all over the office. Some of them stood in place over a week! Had me thinking there was something mystical about that Spring Equinox. But, as I reflected on what we had done, the truth started surfacing. It didn't have anything to do with the Spring Equinox. I concluded that if we had worked that hard at it any other day of the year, we could've stood those eggs on end any other day of the year! The same old lesson reinforced one more time - work hard enough and you can achieve anything you set your heart and mind to do. Hard work! - the same lesson many of us have learned time and again. Only one problem... I haven't been able to balance another egg on end since that day! And nothing I've said here has anything to do with next Tuesday being April Fool's Day, honest! But, this does... Happy Anniversary, Judy! I love you! Yea, I guess we could've made it more interesting and got married Feb. 29th. ************ If you can read this, thank a teacher.
