Agriculture Awareness Week
- March 16 - 22

"Our agriculture community is made up of hard-working individuals who embrace technology and innovation," Governor Perdue said yesterday in Atlanta in saluting Georgia's oldest and largest industry.

Our community also salutes the important role of our farmers and the ag industry in Early County.

The Governor also announced White Oak Pastures in Bluffton, the winner of the 2008 Flavor of Georgia contest for their White Oak Grass Fed Beef Ribeye. Over 160 new food products were entered into the contest. See next week's Early County News for more information.
