James - Cochran

Mr. and Mrs. Edwin James of Blakely announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Candice Denise James, to Amir Ngoc Diep Cochran, son of Mr. and Mrs. I.C. Cochran Jr. of Pelham.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Robinson, Bobbie Lee Price and Mamie Lee James, and the late Shed James, all of Blakely.

Miss James is a 2005 Beta graduate of Early County High School. She is a fulltime student at Darton College and employed parttime at Amoco Food Mart.

The future groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. I.C. Cochran Sr. of Pelham, and Mr. and Mrs. Diau Pham of Saigon, Vietnam.

Mr. Cochran in a 2003 honor graduate of Pelham High School. He is a fulltime student at Albany State University and will graduate in May with a bachelor's degree in art. Mr. Cochran will join the U.S. Air Force as an officer shortly after graduating from ASU.

The couple will exchange vows May 10, 2008, at 4 p.m. at St. Maryland Missionary Baptist Church in Blakely. All family and friends of the couple are invited. The reception will be at the Howell Community Center. Everyone is invited to attend this joyous occasion.
