The Blakely Garden Club has selected the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fletcher Thompson as Yard of the Month for March 2008. The bright green winter grass in the lawn of the Thompson's home on Hilton Drive is eye catching especially on winter days.
Pots and planters filled with pansies offer an added accent of color in the front yard. The private backyard contains large pots of macho and Kimberly Queen ferns, palms, numerous plantings and a unique play yard for their son.
The well-cared for shrubs and specimen plants in this carefully designed landscape make this garden beautiful all through the year.
