ECHS Region Literary champs

The ECHS Literary team won the region competition Saturday with a score of 56 points. The closest team to them had 33 points.

Winners in Saturday's competition include: Breanna Bush - 1st in girl's solo; Spencer Rice - 1st in boy's dramatic interpretation, 3rd in boy's solo; Stephanie Anderson - 1st in girl's essay, 2nd in girl's dramatic interpretation; Chris Sumner - second in boy's essay; Rebecca Miliner- 4th in girl's extemporaneous speaking; Daniel Bagwell - 1st in boy's extemporaneous speaking for the third year in a row; girl's trio (Breanna Bush, Tonya McFay, Mitsy Moreno) - 1st place; boy's quartet (Seth Lovering, Jacob Hawkins, Spencer Rice, Robert Mock) - 1st place.

The first place contestants will compete in state competition this weekend in Warner Robins. Coaches for the team include Tammy Kilgore, Kim Hall, Valerie Crocker and Steve Crocker. Musical groups were accompanied by Sharon Hunt.
