Easter Cantata

The adult choir of First Baptist Church in Blakely will present the Easter Cantata, "KNOWN BY THE SCARS," a dynamic story of the life, crucifixion, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

The performance will be Saturday, March 22 at 7 p.m. in the church sanctuary. The program will be under the direction of Jimbo Jarvis, Interim Minister of Music with piano accompanist Brad Hughes. Selections from the Easter cantata will also be performed at the Easter Sunday worship service March 23 at 11 a.m.

"KNOWN BY THE SCARS" - By His STRIPES We Are HEALED! is a special and unique collection of songs that tell the Easter story. The community is invited and encouraged to attend these events during the Easter season.
