Wright scores 1,500, Lady Cats in playoffs

Lady Bobcat Marah Wright reached an impresive plateau scoring her 1,500th point against Cook County last week.
The four-year starter has scored 1,526 points averaging 18.4 points and 9.23 rebounds this season. Marah has already been selected first team allregion this season. She is the daughter of Robert and Mary Wright.
The Lady Cats, 16-10 will play the Laney High girls of Augusta in the first round of the state playoffs at 4 p.m. Feb. 29 at the Savannah State Tiger Arena
