Smith - Barfield
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Hatcher of Leary, Mr. and Mrs. Wilton Smith of Titusville, Fla., and Carol Smith of Palacios, Texas. Miss Smith is a graduate of Southwest Georgia Academy and Georgia Southern University where she graduated magna cum laude receiving her bachelor of business administration degree with a major in accounting. She is now in her second year at Georgia State University College of Law. The future bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Roger Barfield of Dawson, and the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Dunn of West Palm Beach, Fla., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Tom Barfield of Dawson. Mr. Barfield is a graduate of Deerfield-Windsor School and Auburn University where he received a bachelor of arts degree with a major in communications. He is employed by Snelling Staffing, Inc. as a business development manager in Atlanta.
The wedding is planned for June 7, 2008, at seven o'clock in the evening at Christ United Methodist Church in Albany with a reception to follow at Stonebridge Golf and Country Club.
