Franklin Starr Franklin Lafayette Starr, 67, of Donalsonville died Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2008, at the Malcom Randall VA Medical Center in Gainesville, Fla. Mr. Starr was born in Akron, Ohio, April 20, 1940, to the late Bill Starr and Frieda O'Madden. He served his country in the U.S. Army, worked in a radiator shop in Carson City, Nev., and was of the Catholic faith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kim Tucker Starr. Survivors include one daughter, Mariann Starr of Blakely; one son, Kenneth Starr and wife Denese of Donalsonville; one sister, Sue Starr of Las Vegas, Nev.; and six grandchildren. Mr. Starr's remains were cremated.
Evans-Skipper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
