McDonald - Middleton vows exchanged
Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Dan Harris of Toccoa, Ga. and Mr. and Mrs. Mike McDonald of Evans, Ga. She is the granddaughter of JoAnn Sitton and the late Ellis A. Sitton of Whitehall, Ill., and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth McDonald of Wrens, Ga. Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Middleton of Blakely. He is the grandson of Jack Settles of Cuthbert and the late Mildred Settles of Blakely and Mr. and Mrs. Garland Middleton of Blakely. The bride was escorted by her father. The maid of honor was Christy Gore. Bridesmaids were Heather Lambert, niece of the bride, and Kayce Tyler. Wayne Middleton served as his son's best man. Groomsmen were Nick Still, brother-inlaw of the groom, and Dr. Nate Dallas. The bride wore an A-line light gold taffeta dress with a beaded shirred bodice and pick-up skirt with a chapel train. Her gold brushed metal leaf tiara was adorned with pearls and Swarovski crystals and the attached ivory veil was embroidered with gold lace flowers with a gold beaded edge. The bridesmaids wore sable and gold tissue taffeta strapless gowns with wide sashes in the back that formed a long tail over the ball gown skirt.
A reception was held at The Ravine at Kinderloo Forest Country Club following the ceremony. Music was provided by Millennium Entertainment. The couple chose Breckenridge, Colo., for a honeymoon. They have made their home in Valdosta.
