County-wide water system discussion One of the disciplines of each of the leadership classes sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce is to identify several issues important to the community for discussion. One of the topics being studied by the present class is the need of a county-wide water system. The class is hosting a community meeting Thursday, Jan. 17 to discuss the possibility of a county-wide water system in Early County. Dan Bollinger, executive director of the Southwest Georgia Regional Development Center, will discuss considerations and options of a county-wide water system.
The meeting will be at 5:30 p.m. at the Early County High cafeteria.
