Andrew Ransom Andrew Ransom, 108, died Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2007, at Early Memorial Nursing Home. Mr. Ransom was born in Blakely Aug. 18, 1899, to the late Isiah Ransom and Rosa Ransom. He was a retired city street worker. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ada Howard Ransom; his brothers and sisters; and two children. Survivors include one grandson, Willie Ransom of Blakely; one grandchild; six great-grandchildren, Craig, Tamika, Derrick, Ernest, Larry and Derrick; and two great-great-grandchildren, Craig and Dieyana. Funeral services were Sunday, Dec. 30, 2007, at 3 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church with Rev. Cleveland Sanders officiating. Interment followed at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery.
Peoples Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
