Johnny Coleman Johnny C. Coleman, 72, of Blakely died Monday, Dec. 24, 2007, at his residence. Mr. Coleman was born in Early County Nov. 25, 1935, to the late Mae Frances Davis and J.C. Coleman. He was a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by three children and two grandchildren. Survivors include his wife, Clattie Crawford Coleman; two daughters, Carolyn Sol and husband L.B. and Tommie Jean Coleman; four sons, J.C. Coleman Jr., Walter Lee Coleman and wife Rachel, Mackel Jones and Keith Blocker; two stepdaughters, Annette Crawford of Donalsonville and Sandra Jean Jenkins and husband Sam of Hinesville, Ga.; 10 grandchildren; one stepgrandson; and nine greatgrandchildren. Funeral services were Saturday, Dec. 29, 2007, at 2 p.m. at New Saint Paul Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Don Effard officiating. Interment followed at New Saint Paul Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Christopher Coleman,Walter Lee Coleman Sr., Walter Lee Coleman Jr., Christopher Lee, Demetrius Lee, Travis Lee, Anthony Sol, Dominick Sol and Dantavis Thomas.
Community Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
