Presidential primary registration
The last day to register to vote in the Feb. 5, 2008 Presidential Preference Primary Election is Monday, Jan. 7, 2008. This is also the last day to make a change of name and/or address.
Citizens may obtain registration forms from any public library, any agency of public assistance and in the county registrar's office located in the Tax Assessor's Building just off the Square on River Street.
Absentee ballots are also available for the primary. Requests for absentee ballots must be made either in person at the registrar's office, by mail or by fax. Please call the county registrar office at 723-4522 for more information.
