COLLEGE NEWS Georgia Tech Michael William Moseley, son of John L. and Beth Moseley, graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology Saturday, Dec. 15, in Atlanta. Moseley received a bachelor of science degree in computer engineering, graduating with highest honors, the institute's distinction for superior academic achievement. Moseley has been selected to continue his education in computer engineering. He will enter Georgia Tech's electrical and computer engineering graduate program next semester. Through this program, he will research advantages of non-silicon semiconductors and microelectronic devices. Moseley is a 2004 graduate of Middle Georgia College and Early County High School. Georgia Southern Rebecca Conner, Early County class of 2007, has been named to Georgia Southern University dean's list for her outstanding academic achievement during her freshman year at GSU. Rebecca is to be inducted into Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society, the oldest honor society for first-year students in the United States. Rebecca is a mathematics major enrolled in the honors program in Georgia Southern University college of science and technology. Wallace College
Brenton D. Jackson of Fort Gaines and Richard D. Ward of Jakin were named to the dean's list for the 2007 fall semester at Wallace Community College. Eligibility for the dean's list is based on a GPA of 3.5 or higher, with a minimum of 12 semester hours.
