Authorities have arrested four local teenagers in connection with a Friday night burglary of Tri-County Pawn on Columbia Street during which three guns were stolen. Jerrod Igles, Antonio Woods and Antonio Dale, all three 17 yearold teenagers from Blakely, have been arrested and are being held in the Early County Jail on burglary charges. More...

John Seaborn Flanagan, 77, died Thursday, Nov. 13, 2008. Mr. Flanagan was born in Early County Feb. 1, 1931, to the late Wiley J. and Ola Jenkins Flanagan. He attended Blakely Union School and was president of his junior class. He served for over nine years in the United States Army.
