Bobcats fall to Mitchell Eagles 35-20

      The Early County Bobcats fell to 1-and-8 on the season with a disappointing 35-20 loss to the Mitchell County Eagles in Camilla Friday night. The Bobcats overcame a 14-6 deficit at the half to lead 20-14 with 9:18 left to play in the fourth quarter.

Cross country team advances to state
      On Thursday, Oct. 30 the Early County Cross Country team ran in the region meet at Kolomoki Mounds State Park. The girls ran at 10 a.m. and the boys at 11 a.m. Other high schools competing were Albany, Berrien and Cook counties, Fitzgerald and Thomasville.

Warriors lose heartbreaker to Sherwood Eagles

      The SGA Warriors traveled to Albany to face the Sherwood Christian Academy Eagles in an important region game and the final regular season game of the year. SGA led for most of the ballgame but Sherwood came from behind in the fourth quarter to defeat the Warriors 21-20 in a hard fought football game.
