      The wedding plans for Ashley Nicole Floyd and Charles Micah Ward are complete. The ceremony will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, 2008, at the First Baptist Church in Blakely with the reception immediately following in the church fellowship hall.

      A former Blakely resident, the late Betty Timmons Apgar, was recently honored at a dedication service for the Betty Apgar Memorial Playground in Mooresville, N.C., where she lived and taught school for 25 years.
