Hromalik graduates
      Joseph Raymond Hromalik, son of Al Hromalik and the late Annette Hromalik, graduated from the University of Georgia in May. Hromalik received a bachelor's degree in horticulture. He also holds a BFA in fine arts. While at the university he was inducted to PXI, an honorary achievement society for horticulture majors.

      The 2008 Bobcat Youth Football Camp was held this past June with over 40 participants. These young cats will be sharing the field with the ECHS Bobcats this Friday night during the traditional run-through.

      University of Georgia The University of Georgia has announced the names of undergraduate students who were named to the dean's list for summer semester. Students named to the dean's list have earned a 3.5 grade point average or higher out of a possible 4.0 and take at least 14 credit hours and receive no unsatisfactory or incomplete grades.

Taylor makes ECCC team
      Emmanual Taylor is a freshman quarterback on the 2008 East Central Community College football team. Taylor is a product of Early County High School. The ECCC Warriors, led by first-year head coach Steve Cheatham, begin season action Thursday, Aug. 28 at Coahoma Community College. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. on the Clarksdale campus. East Central is located in Decatur, Miss.
