      Join me in a very brief search in the Gospel of John to find out what it really means to believe in Jesus Christ. Believing Begins with Grace Generally speaking, the gospels present the gospel and the epistles explain the gospel. The word "grace" hardly appears in the gospels (only four times), while "faith" is found everywhere.
