Sheriff's race to be decided August 5
Early County voters will get a second chance to decide the sheriff's race when Sheriff Jimmie Murkerson and challenger Donald Bryant meet head-to-head in the Aug. 5 General Primary run-off election. Murkerson edged Bryant in the threeway July 15 General Primary vote count with 1,343 votes to Bryant's 1,303. Ray Enfinger received 801 votes. More...
