Mr. and Mrs. Dan "Buster" Smith of Cuthbert announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Kylie Lynn, to Jonathan Caleb Bruner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Jennings of Morgan and Mr. and Mrs. Cal Bruner of Bluffton.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Waller of Blakely and Grace Smith of Cuthbert and the late Rev. Marvin Smith.

Miss Smith graduated valedictorian of the 2003 senior class of Randolph Southern School in Shellman. She graduated magna cum laude from Darton College in 2005 with an associate of science in pre-pharmacy and in 2007 with an associate of science in medical laboratory technology. She is employed at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany.

The future groom is the grandson of Patsy Milner of Arlington and the late Dobb Milner, Mr. and Mrs. John C. Bruner of Bluffton and Mr. and Mrs. George Bojar of Oshkosh, Wis.

Mr. Bruner is a 1996 graduate of Calhoun County High School. After graduation, he served four years in the United States Navy. He is employed with Flint Equipment Company in Cuthbert.

The wedding is planned for Saturday, Nov. 1, 2008, at 2 o'clock in the afternoon at Carnegie Baptist Church in Cuthbert. A reception will follow at the Carnegie Community Club House.

No local invitations are being sent. All family and friends of the couple are invited to attend.
