Make plans now to end your July 4 weekend celebration by attending "The Spirit of America." This event will begin with a tribute to the Grand Old Flag and presentation of the colors by a color guard. A choir of approximately 100 singers and instrumentalists will present a rousing tribute to this great country we call home. The music will be accompanied by outstanding videos.

This musical focuses attention on five attitudes and characteristics that have made Americans unique throughout our history: the spirit of freedom, the spirit of adventure, the spirit of hope, the spirit of sacrifice and the spirit of divine purpose. This group will bring our God and country celebration alive with songs such as "This is My Country," "Salute to the Armed Services," "America" and many more.

Men and women who are currently serving and those who have previously served in any branch of the armed services will be recognized. This is a perfect opportunity to thank these heroes for what they have done and are doing to make America greater and to make our lives better.
