Darton College

Several Blakely area residents graduated this spring from the Darton College nursing program with associate of science degrees.

The graduates, now eligible to take the licensing examination to become registered nurses include Lauren Atkinson, Mary Grace Bannister, Megan Walker, Ashley Floyd and Anita Elliott.

Valdosta State

The following area students have been named to the spring 2008 dean's list at Valdosta State University in Valdosta. To make the dean's list, students must maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 and must have a semester grade point average of at least 3.66 with at least 10 hours of course work. Grade point averages are based on a 4.0 scale. The students from Blakely are Jeffrey W. Anderson, Eli L. Bundrick, Alicia Lynsey Drew, Megan Leigh Everson, Callie Renee Poole, Daniel Wayne Ragan and Lakeisha Jennelle Tolbert. Also named to the dean's list were Erin Bain Gray and Jennifer Kate Harris, both of Bluffton, and Haley Karrin Crozier of Fort Gaines.
