Jimmy Ladon Williams, 74, of Edison died Sunday, May 25, 2008.

Mr. Williams was born May 9, 1934, in Seminole County, Ga., to the late Grady Williams and Ruth West Williams. He was a retired route salesman for Tom's Peanut Co. and a member of Edison Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mickey Dean Duke Williams of Edison; one son, Steve Williams and wife Melissa of Albany; one daughter, Cindy Smith and husband Kent of Atanta; two brothers, Billy Williams of Colquitt and Buddy Williams and wife Linda of Albany; one sister, Juanita Hines of Albany; and four grandchildren, Landon Smith of Atlanta and Kristi, Teasie and Steven Williams, all of Albany.

Funeral services will be Thursday, May 29, 2008, at 11 a.m. at Edison Baptist Church with Rev. Pete Sharber officiating. Interment will follow in Salem Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Richard West, Aldine Owen, Reeves Lane, John McGriff, Jimmy Eubanks and Frank Miller.

Visitation will be today, Wednesday, May 28, 2008, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, family members request that donations be made to Edison Baptist Church.

Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
