      Gloria Patricia "Pat" Boyd, 73, of Colquitt died Monday, April 14, 2008, at her residence. Mrs. Boyd was born in Miller County Aug. 11, 1934. She was a member of Colquitt First Baptist Church and the American Cancer Society. She retired from Colquitt City Hall.

Mr. Gordon was born in Miller County July 19, 1931, to the late Marvin Wilton Gordon and Rosa Bell Widner Gordon Kimbrel. He was of the Assembly of God faith. He was the owner and operator of Gordon's Construction and spent most of his life in Early County.

      Ricardo "Ricky" Cardenas, 12, died Friday, April 18, 2008, at Miller County Hospital. Mr. Cardenas was born July 7, 1995, in Naples, Fla., to Pedro Cardenas and Maria Elida Quionones Cardenas. He was a seventh grade student at Early County Middle School, enjoyed karate and soccer, and loved pets.

      Marion C. Mock, 88, of Blakely died Saturday, April 19, 2008, at his residence. Mr. Mock was born in Early County March 16, 1920, to the late Charlie Marcellous Mock and Nora Folds Mock. He was a member of Blakely First Baptist Church and the retired vicepresident of First State Bank. He also served in the U.S. Army during WWII.
