NOTICE OF SALE UNDER POWER
GEORGIA, EARLY COUNTY
THIS LAW FIRM IS ACTING AS A
DEBT COLLECTOR ATTEMPTING TO
COLLECT A DEBT. ANY INFORMATION
OBTAINED WILL BE USED
FOR THAT PURPOSE.
Under and by virtue of the Power of
Sale contained in a Security Deed given
by Robert A. Bankston to Mortgage
Electronic Registration Systems, Inc.,
dated May 25, 2006, recorded in Deed
Book 275, Page 594, Early County,
Georgia Records, conveying the afterdescribed
property to secure a Note in
the original principal amount of ONE
HUNDRED FOURTEEN THOUSAND
AND 0/100 DOLLARS ($114,000.00),
with interest thereon as set forth therein,
there will be sold at public outcry to
the highest bidder for cash before the
courthouse door of Early County,
Georgia, within the legal hours of sale
on the first Wednesday in January,
2008, the following described property:
All that tract or land in the City of
Blakely, Early County, Georgia in lot of
Land No. 154 in the 28th Land District
of Early County, Georgia further
described as follows; Begin at the northwest
corner of the Jernigan land and
run thence west on Liberty Street along
the southern edge of Liberty Street sidewalk
(paved) a distance of 94 feet;
thence run south at right angles, a distance
of 650 feet to the Chipstead lands;
thence run east 105 feet to the west
property line of Jernigan lands; thence
run northerly along said west property
line of Jernigan lands 649 feet, more or
less to the point of beginning. Together
with all improvements thereon. Said
tract is part of a tract conveyed in Deed
from Mrs. J.T. Hammack to Phillip E.
and Evelyn Daub recorded in Deed Book
82, page 89, Early County Deed records.
The debt secured by said Security
Deed has been and is hereby declared
due because of, among other possible
events of default, failure to pay the
indebtedness as and when due and in
the manner provided in the Note and
Security Deed. The debt remaining in
default, this sale will be made for the
purpose of paying the same and all
expenses of this sale, as provided in
Security Deed and by law, including
attorneys fees (notice of intent to collect
attorneys fees having been given).
Said property will be sold subject to
any outstanding ad valorem taxes
(including taxes which are a lien, but
not yet due and payable), any matters
which might be disclosed by an accurate

survey and inspection of the property,
any assessments, liens, encumbrances,
zoning ordinances, restrictions,
covenants, and matters of record superior
to the Security Deed first set out
above.
To the best knowledge and belief of
the undersigned, the party in possession
of the property is Robert A. Bankston or
a tenant or tenants and said property is
more commonly known as 402 Liberty
Street, Blakely, Georgia 39823.
The sale will be conducted subject (1)
to confirmation that the sale is not prohibited
under the U.S. Bankruptcy Code
and (2) to final confirmation and audit
of the status of the loan with the holder
of the security deed.

MARTHA S. ALLEN has petitioned
to be appointed Administrator(s) of the
estate of LARRY LEE ALLEN,
deceased, of said County. (The petitioner
has also applied for waiver of bond

and/or grant of certain powers contained

Under and by virtue of power of sale
contained in Deed to Secure Debt executed
by JAMES A. MORRELL AND
LYNNE L. MORRELL, under the date
of February 15, 2006, securing a note
dated December 20, 2006, in the principal
sum of $99,007.93, payable in 23
monthly installments with one (1) balloon
payment of $97812.37 being due
December 20, 2008, said deed being
recorded in Deed Book 273, Pages 82-86,
Early County, Georgia Deed Records
and by virtue of a default in the payment
of the indebtedness secured by
said deed, the undersigned will sell at
public outcry to the highest bidder for
cash, before the Court House Door of
Early County, Georgia, during the legal

PUBLIC NOTICE
The Southwest Georgia Workforce
Investment Board and Youth Council
will be accepting proposals from all
interested applicants (community-based
organizations, school districts, postsecondary
institutions, faith-based organizations,
agency collaboratives, etc.) for
the delivery of youth services under the
Workforce Investment Act (WIA) as
specified in the Request for Proposal
(RFP).
This solicitation seeks proposals for
in-school and/or out-of-school youth programs
for the specific Southwest
Georgia counties of Early, Decatur, Lee,
Miller, Seminole, and Thomas. The
approximate level of Workforce
Investment Act (WIA) youth funding
available for PY 2007 is $600,000. This
request is for the purpose of contracting
WIA programs for at-risk youth residing
in the specific counties listed above who
are between the ages of fourteen (14)

and twenty-one (21) years of age and
meet economically disadvantaged eligibility
requirements established by the
Workforce Investment Act, Title I. The
application can be presented under an
agreement of several community partners
or agencies, or by a single entity.
Request for Proposal application
packages will be available beginning on
December 17, 2007 at the address below.
