Bobcats receive postseason honors

Six Bobcats were recognized last week with 1-AA All-Region honors.

First Team

Named to the 1-AA All Region first team were wide receivers Dionis Bryant and Vintavius Stovall, linebackers Demetrius Cody and Kodell Collier, and defensive linemen Robert Worlds and Nick Holmes.

Second Team

Named to the second team were linebacker Anthony Williams and defensive lineman Latavius Davis.

Receiving honorable mention were quarterback Michael Perry, kicker Mark Culpepper, running backs Neko Wimberly and Adonis Lee, defensive lineman Walt Lightsey, defensive back Tracy Anthony and center Josh Storey.

All-Star Game

In addition to All-Region honors, defensive lineman Robert Worlds was chosen to participate in the G.A.C.A. North-South all-star game. The game will be played Saturday, Dec. 29, at 2 p.m. in Columbus at Memorial Stadium on Victory Drive.
