SGA seniors recognized

Ashley Tedder
SGA senior Ashley Tedder was chosen to play in the GISA All-Star softball game Saturday, Oct. 27 at Mt. De Sales in Macon.

"Ashley represented SGA well, making a couple of nifty defensive plays," said Coach Manry. "Our softball team will really miss Ashley next year. She was fun to coach and fun to be around. It will be hard for anyone to break a new career record for runs scored and stolen bases."

Ashley has been on the varsity softball team for four years. She holds the all-time SGA record for runs scored and stolen bases in a four-year career.

She was third on the team in batting this year with a solid .310 average. She was tied for the lead in extra base hits with six. She also led the team in runs scored with 33 and stolen bases with 20.

Ashley was named a 3AA all-region player the past two years.

••• Senior Alex Wilson was chosen to play on the 2007 all-star football team. The game was held in Mt. De Sales Dec. 8 in Macon.

Alex started in the game as a linebacker and his team won 28-15.

Alex Wilson
He led SGA's football team in tackles and scored six touchdowns for the 2007 season.

"He was chosen by the allstate coaches because of his yearly stats, achievements and hard work," said Alex's football coach David Bell. "It is quite a task to be eligible to make the all-state team."
