CHURCH NEWS Allen Chapel A.M.E. The Green Cemetery Improvement Project will hold its annual fundraiser Sunday, Dec. 16 at 2:30 p.m. at Allen Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church. The guest speaker will be Rev. James Martin. Everyone is invited to attend. Arms of Faith M.B. Arms of Faith Missionary Baptist Church will give holiday gift baskets, inclusive of food and toys, to those who desire to have one immediately after church service Sunday, Dec. 16. Only one basket per family please. If there is a family or friend that needs one, drop by and pick up a basket for that family. First Baptist First Baptist Church of Blakely will present its Christmas Choir Night Sunday, Dec. 16 at 6 p.m. The Little Notes Choir, ages 3-5, Young Musicians, grades 1-6, and the adult choir will perform musical numbers and a skit will be performed by the Royal Ambassadors and Girls in Action groups, grades 1-5. A finger food fellowship will immediately follow in the church fellowship hall. New Hope Baptist Is the story about Jesus fact or fiction? An investigative reporter searches for the truth in the musical drama "The Mystery of the Manger" to be presented by children, youth, and the adult choirs of New Hope Baptist Church. The program will be presented Sunday night, Dec. 16, 6:00 p.m. with a fellowship to follow. Everyone is invited to attend. Springfield Baptist Springfield Baptist Church's adult choir will present their Christmas Cantata Dec. 16 at 7 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend. St. Maryland M.B. St. Maryland Missionary Baptist Church youth choir will celebrate their 11th choir anniversary Dec. 16 at 3 p.m. All choirs, groups and soloists are invited to attend. Zion F.W.B. Zion Free Will Baptist Church will present their Christmas cantata entitled "On This Very Night" Sunday, Dec. 23 at 11 a.m. Everyone is invited to attend. St. John Pineview St. John Pineview will be having a Christmas program Dec. 19, at 7 p.m. The theme will be "the true meaning of Christmas" with special guest Madea and speaker Dr. Walter Sims. Everyone is invited to attend. Evergreen Church Evergreen Church will have their pastor anniversary Jan. 6, 2008, at 3 p.m.
