Lisa Weeks, a 2002 graduate of ECHS, is pictured with her "baby," a 7-ton, armored flat bed she drives delivering medical supplies in Iraq.
Weeks' U.S. Marine Corp Reserve unit in Albany was activated in April and deployed to Iraq in August where she was attached to a Naval Medical Unit. She is scheduled to return to the U.S. between March and April 2008 from her second tour in Iraq.
After Lisa graduated from Early County High School she left for boot camp in July 2002 and joined her reserve unit in November 2002 and was activated for January 2003 through November 2003.
She was reactivated in 2005 and served her first tour in Iraq. She is daughter of Owen "Bubba" and Barbara Weeks, sister of Becki English, granddaughter of Betty Revells Murkerson of Jakin and Fannie Bell Weeks of Donalsonville.
