Barbree returns for signing
Veteran NBC space correspondent Jay Barbree returns to Blakely this weekend to sign copies of his best selling book, Live from Cape Canaveral. A native of Blakely and former reporter for WALBTV and the Albany Herald, Barbree will be signing Saturday at Three Diamonds on the square in Blakely.
Movie rights have been bought by movie producer Jeffrey Sharp, producer of seven theater-released films. Sharp plans to film the movie at the space centers along with early footage of Barbree's life in Early County and Albany.
Barbree will begin signing at 11 a.m.
