Quite a catch!
 | | Larry Jackson caught a 20-pound carp on a cricket one morning recently on Lake Yoholo at Kolomoki Mounds State Park. No, it wasn't a two-pound cricket! Using a Zebco 33 with 10- pound test line, it took Jackson 38 minutes to get the fish in the boat. Returning that afternoon, Larry found himself in a similar battle with a 22-pounder at the same place on the lake. He has since switched from crickets to minnows and has been targeting crappie."They have some good crappie in both lakes at the park," he stated. |
