MILITARY NEWS
During the six weeks of training, the airman studied the Air Force mission, organization, and military customs and courtesies; performed drill and ceremony marches, and received physical training, rifle marksmanship, field training exercises and special training in human relations. In addition, airmen who complete basic training earn credits toward an associate degree through the Community College of the Air Force. While in training she participated in honor flight, played the bass drum in the Air Force band, and received medals for the 400 yard dash, 5K run, PRT excellence, AEF excellence awards and academic excellence. She is the daughter of Lynn Daughtry of Blakely and Bob Daughtry of Iron City.
Daughtry is a 2005 graduate of Cairo High School.
